Manuel Portales was born in Seville, Mairena del Alcor. Since he was a child he began to be interested in acting and it was in high school when he performed his first play with the actress Carmen Troncoso, who made him feel the curiosity of cinema and theatre. Funny, charismatic and with a well-developed improvisational side, he entered the Seville Film Lab school, where he received initial theatrical training and intensive film training for several years. His passion for the camera and cinema made him broaden his knowledge in trainings and courses in Madrid, among them: master in the school of Mario Bolaños, he participated in series like Aida and Simuladores, later he participated in the web-series Torres de Narcos directed by Mario Bolaños.

He continues to broaden his knowledge in the city of Madrid with professionals such as Carmen Utrilla, Conchi Iglesias, etc. Among other works he was directed in the school Doble R in Seville, during a year the body movement and voice, he had the experience of working with Bell Alzamora as a coach, he continued later expanding his knowledge in the development of looks, silences, active listening, body expression and sub text with the director Andrea Jaurrieta, in pandemic he embarked on the training of the analysis and construction of the character of the Liszt-Kodály Society of Spain, taught by the great actor Fernando Cayo, in addition to all this he has great facility to put Latin accents. He is currently preparing a character for a short film written and directed by the director and actor Rubén Jiménez Sanz.
