Sharon Isabella Sánchez Ramírez was born on 9 January 2001 in Córdoba, Spain, to an adventurous couple who left Colombia in search of a better future. Her roots and blood are Colombian, as they grew up dancing salsa with her mother and watching soap operas. However, her feet got used to the sand and sea of Fuerteventura, where she grew up and where she discovered her vocation as an actress when she started theatre classes at the age of 7. During her teenage years, she never missed an opportunity to go on stage, whether it was to dance flamenco, parade in beauty pageants or recite poetry.
At the age of 18, Sharon moved to Madrid to pursue her dream and train in schools such as El Laboratorio William Layton, La Central del Cine, Azarte, Actores Madrid and LaJoven. She has also attended seminars with teachers such as John Strasberg and Iñaki Aierra, and has perfected her training in dance academies such as SOM and Danza 180. Currently, she continues to expand her learning in various areas to maximize her skills, including the comic vis and Latin accents (Colombian, Venezuelan, Cuban, Mexican, among others).
Throughout these years, Sharon has starred in two short films: ‘Mariposas’, directed by Pablo Pagan Méndez, and ‘Cinco’, directed by Diego Gardo and Víctor Candela. She has also worked in theatre, with plays such as ‘Terror y Miseria entre 1936 y 1975’ under the direction of Carmen Losa, and ‘Elisa y el secreto de las hadas’, directed by Sara Trevis.
Outside her acting career, Sharon dedicates her free time to sports, such as running and dance, and enjoys music and literature, finding in poetry a passion for both writing and reciting.
