Juan Daniel Straube is a film actor and model born in the “Land of Eternal Spring,” Guatemala. From a young age, Juan Daniel discovered his love for movies and began participating in various artistic and athletic activities, including theater, karate, self-defense (MMA), acrobatics, and soccer.

At the age of 12, Juan Daniel started traveling to different countries in Latin America and Europe, which sparked a deep passion for languages, accents, and other cultures. After suffering a left shoulder injury, Juan Daniel had to let go of his dream of becoming a professional soccer player.

This event was both heartbreaking and transformative, as it created the space for him to take a 360-degree turn in his life and pursue a new dream—one that seemed impossible in Guatemala: becoming a film actor, like the ones he admired as a child. In 2016, he decided to move to Europe (Berlin), where he quickly learned German and began his acting career.

Juan Daniel joined the “Meisner International” collective in Berlin with Steven Ditmyer and studied film for three years. During his training, Juan Daniel participated in more than 30 film projects, including feature films, short films, and web series. In 2021, the short film Raphael won the Best Student Film award in Paris.

Shortly after graduating as a film actor, Juan Daniel was hired by TED (The Experience Department), where he worked as an actor, singer, and host for an entire season in Greece. Juan Daniel has also participated in major productions, including the German television series GZSZ, Berlin Station(Netflix) and Nothingman.
