Born in Barcelona Spain, Jesus dicovered his true vocation in Sydney, Australia at the age of 18. There, he enrolls to his first professional acting course at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA).
In 2004, after a year back in Barcelona, he quits his studies of engineering to study at the prestigious Drama School (Institut del Teatre de Barcelona). His insaciable atraction for acting drives him to the HB Studio in New York during the Summers of 2005 and 2007 where he Studies with Edward Morehouse, Jim Boerlin and Carol Rosenfeld, among others. In 2009, thanks to an scholarship, he moves to London to finish his degree in acting at the Rose Bruford College.
His interest for other languages and cultures encourages him to go to Rome (Italy) where he lives for 5 months, and Reunion Island (France) where he stays for over a year.
Besides several Theatre plays since his early begining as an actor, he works in several shortfilms with young film-makers, natioanly and internationaly. He got his first professional role in the TV series “Pelotas” from Jose Corbacho and Juan Cruz, and in feature films such as “Yo soy la Juani” directed by Bigas Luna or “Sing for Darfur” by Johan Kramer.
His first leading role comes in 2013 with the road-movie “Tercer Grado” aka “Day Release” directed by Geoffrey Cowper. He plays Mark Rodriguez a young troubled man who’s got his first weekend parole after 5 years in prison and will try to make it up with his brother Toni.
