David Comrie, actor and singer was born in Panama. He moved with his family to Canada in his adolescence, where he began his training in singing.
His beginnings in the world of acting were in musicals. In 2002 he debuted in his first musical “Les Miserables”. Followed by other theatrical productions including “West Side Story”, “The Color Purple”, “Grease”, “La Llamada”, “Motown Gold”, among others.
In 2011 he moved to Madrid after being selected by Disney to star in the hit Broadway musical “The Lion King”. There he played the rol of Mufasa for 6 years at the Lope de Vega Theater.
He trained as an actor at the Corazza Studio and the Actor’s Center, in addition to taking different courses in New York and London.
After leaving the Lion King , the audiovisual world knocked on his door. He has appeared in television series such as “Amar es Para Siempre”, “Casa de Papel”, “In from the Cold”.
He is about to premiere the series “Fuerza de Paz” for TVE and Alea Media.
In cinema we can see him in “Control Room” by Luiso Berdejo and “La Llegada” by Sebastian Vasquez and Alejandro Rojas.
He is currently finishing shooting the second season of Alex de la Iglesia’s series “30 Monedas”.
