Bachir Samb is an actor, singer, writer and composer born in the Canary Islands, son of Senegalese parents. His versatility and passion have led him to excel in various facets of the world of art, both in Spain and internationally. Known for his performances in Spanish TV series such as “Madres”, “La que se avecina” and his participation in the second season of “Kosta The Paradise”, playing Darmian Wilson, Bachir has demonstrated his ability to bring to life captivating characters.

In film, he has worked under the direction of renowned filmmakers on a variety of projects. Among his most notable works are “El Salto” directed by Benito Zambrano, and several short films such as “Hypertension” by Taito Kawata, “Balthasar” by Brietta Hague, “Quien Soy” by Hannah Poppe, “Plan Z” by Claudia Gonzalez and “Tweet-Tweet” by Elliot Huescar. These appearances have reinforced him as an actor of great range and depth.

In addition to his work in television and film, Bachir has explored other artistic facets. In April 2021, he published his first autobiographical book “A Letter to Adelina”, followed by the release of his debut single “Adelina” a month later. This song, based on his book, showcases his talent as a musician and composer, evidencing his ability to tell stories through both music and writing.

As for his training, Bachir has honed his skills at Actúa Estudio, where he trained in acting, and has participated in various workshops and professional training programmes for film and television. These include the Sit-Com treatment workshop led by Miguel Cruz, the actor’s marketing workshop with David Victori, and the workshop on personal branding and the audiovisual market in Spain at Silver Studio. He has also received personal coaching from Darío Valtancoli and has perfected his vocal skills in singing and vocal technique classes led by Clio Byme at the Escuela de Música Buena Onda.

Bachir considers himself a multi-faceted person and for him, art is a way of expressing and communicating. He continues to combine his acting projects with his musical projects, proving himself to be a complete and multifaceted artist. His latest appearance has been on Prime Video’s “The Academy”.
